Jesse + Kimmy

Jesse Steele Ward

 

Born October 9, 1990 as the eldest of two, Jesse grew up in the Western part of North Carolina in the mountains.  Contrary to popular belief, he spent the majority of his life in North Carolina until age 17 when he and his family moved to the beautiful Northern Idaho.

 

For all of his pre-college education he was homeschooled and has always had a passion for learning musical instruments and spending time backpacking in the mountains and mountain biking.

 

For college he attended the University of Idaho and studied Landscape Architecture.  He continued to pursue musical interests, playing in a band and participating in choir.  In addition he maintained his love for the outdoors by continuing backpacking and taking up climbing.

 

Through college the Lord grew his heart for the nations.  Upon graduation in May 2012 with his Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Jesse moved overseas and has spent the past two years teaching English to university students and leading worship at a church.  Through that church is where he and Kimmy’s relationship began.
